Every couple, every wedding is unique...we don't believe in standard bundles. Feel free to contact us with the details of your wedding, and we will provide you with a custom package price: we're pretty flexible!
At Wedding Day Memories, you’ll meet with Suzanne & George, the photographers who will actually be shooting *your* wedding.
When you have decided to hire us, you will sign and deliver the "Wedding Day Memories Photography Contract", with a non-refundable retainer of $1200: your booking cannot be confirmed until this payment is received.
We would like to meet with you, 10 days or so before the event. At this time, the balance owing must be paid, and you can provide us with your itinerary, perhaps a few creative ideas... we’ll get to know each other a little better.
On your wedding day, we are responsible for setting up lighting, other photographic equipment, and will provide full wedding coverage. What this means is that we bring several high end DSLR cameras, a range of lenses and flashes, and a small studio set-up including softboxes. We're portable but prepared!
We take a lot of pictures, whatever it takes to capture the story. With everything unfolding so quickly, it is necessary to just keep on shooting. From this large group, we select the most interesting ones (about 500-600 selected images).
All image files from your wedding will each uniquely numbered. Within 6 weeks after the event, you will receive a Custom Designed, Magazine Style Proof Album as well as a CD of hi-res image file j-pegs from your wedding.
We only shoot RAW files, no "in camera" J-pegs for us! What does that mean for you? Simply put, Better Image Quality A RAW file captures many times the normal information of a J-peg: we can therefore correct exposure, and colour balance like traditional film. RAW files have a broad dynamic range, capturing millions of colours, again a necessary aspect of professional wedding photography. Each image is reviewed, optimized and processed by George. That's right... We alone make the critical decisions, based on our creative awareness and technical expertise.
