1. Our portrait camera is a Canon 1Ds Mark II, a 17
megapixel dream machine.
(Image files are captured as 95MB 16-bit RGB files...)
It is one of the best digital SLR's money can buy. Period.
2. Canon, and only Canon digital SLR cameras are used to
photograph your wedding.
Their CMOS chips capture the subtleties of skin tones in a
way no other sensors can.
Canon has led the way in digital imaging, and is still
ahead of the pack.
3. We only shoot RAW files, no "in camera" J-pegs for us!
What does that mean for you? Simply put, Better Image
Quality
A RAW file captures many times the normal information of a
J-peg:
we can therefore correct exposure, and colour balance like
traditional film.
RAW files have a broad dynamic range, capturing millions of
colours,
again a necessary aspect of professional wedding
photography.
4. Each image is reviewed, optimized and processed by
George.
That's right... We alone make the critical decisions,
based on our creative awareness and technical expertise.
We won't just dump your image files at the lab.
5. Proofs are provided both as colour-corrected 4X6 prints,
as printable 18MB j-pegs, and reduced web-res sRGB j-pegs
for email and web use, such as Facebook.
